Graphics: Unlike most Kirby games, its in 3-D. Nothing too excited. Its rather.... average you could say. It star does look nice, but the legendary star is where the graphics really show! ~7.5~
Gameplay: Well there are 3 modes, normal circuit mode, where you races in a variety of places. Being able to unlock new places and new stars. City Trial, where you can run around in a city for 3~7 mins to buff your star for a different mini-game, always random. During this mode, random, wacky events will happen. This brings a lot of fun to this mode. The last mode is a short-circuit race. Where you race on a very short track and grab random items that will help you along the way. The courses are short and wacky, very fun. ~10~
Multiplayer: This is where the game shines! The best is the City Trail for the multiplayer is the absolute best! One of the best for any game! You just go around, riding different star, destroying your foes star and stealing their buffs, collect the pieces of the legendary star. This game is so much fun! ~10~
Lasting Appeal: Each mode has 120 challenges to beat, most unlocking certain things for that mode. Its actually fun to unlock them. ~7.5~
Overall: If you friends, this is the game for you! Its hour of non-stop fun to race, beat, buff, your friends in. The single-player mode isn’t terrible either. Basic racing is very fun too, unlocking new stars, courses, etc. I give Kirby Air Ride a 8.5 out of 10.
