Graphics: What do you expect from the original Game Boy? Pokemon has the good 2-D feel to the game. Look fine and feels like how it should be on the first portable Nintendo System. ~10 to all~
Gamplay: Well its your basic RPG, takes turn attacking, walk around and explore, collect items, Lvl up, etc. This is your basic Pokemon game, which is still one of the Best RPGs out there. ~10 for R/B~
In Yellow, it’s the same concept except a optional goal is that you can get all 3 starter Pokemon. but Bulbasaur you have to make Pikachu ULTRA Happy. Not too hard, but can be a goal for you. Having all 3 starters at your disposal is a weapon indeed. ~10 for Y~
Sounds: Very Cherry and Happy outside the battle. Wilderness has a adventurous feeling, town are happy and cherry. Inside the battle the Pokemons’ move has there own unique sounds.~10 to all~
Multiplayer: You can trade or battle other trainers. So Pokemon require you to trade to evolve them, so that a little bonus. The battling is fun and great and is a good thrill. ~10 for all~
Lasting Appeal: Lots of many glitches you can do to improve/wreck the game. You can do Glitch City or get a good amount of items. Lvl up your Pokemon to max. ~10 for R/B~
In Yellow, all the glitches are gone, so it’s pure training. Make your Pokemon happy and get all 3 starters. ~7~
Overall: All Pokemon RPGs are fun, this one is probably the funnest of them all. I give R/B/Y a 10 out of 10!
Some of you may be asking why I gave Yellow a 10 outta 10, though it didn't get perfects 10s. It because, it still has that real feel on R/B, but it has it own feel and pace, and the story is slightly different.
