Graphics: For the next installment of the 3-D Mario Plaformer, it is definitly an upgrade. It also keep the real feel of the Mario Series. For one of the first Major GC titles, it's showed its well-known potenitally. ~9~

Gameplay: With FLUDD as a new helper in the game, and his 4 changeable heads, its gives this game a different feel. Each head with its own unique power to use around the plaza or different islands. Lots of new places to explore, and really, a total new gameplay, it does set its own pace with the Mario series. Yoshi has his return in this, squirting juice at people! YAY. ~10~

Sounds: Each lvl has its own music that fits perfectly into the games surroundings. Most are really up-beat and paradisey music. When it time to get serious, it will get bumpy, yet apporiate, msuic. ~9~

Lasting Appeal: Just like 64, these isn’t a lot, mess with FLUDD or Yoshi, collect blue coins and shine. ~142 shines in all~ Yet, it somehow still has a charm that will bring you back just to mess around the main town. ~6.5~

Overall: If you're looking for a Mario game that is looking for it's own originallity, then pick up SMS. It has SOOO much to explore, and new addition really set it apart. I give SMS a 9 outta 10.
